Phi Upsilon Chapter Fatherhood and
Mentoring Program

Ocean and Monmouth County

" A mentee has two mentors; one whom he wants to be like and one whom he doesn't want to be like."

#ShapingLives

Mentoring is the act of providing guidance, wisdom, knowledge, and support in a manner in which a protege can receive and benefit from over the course of one's life. Phi Upsilon takes pride in being a part of community; raising up a child, helping the child to become the best version of himself and push in the exceleration of his career.  Working to assist in developing goals, introducing new ways of thinking, challenging limiting assumptions, teaching life lessons and exposing mentees to new things are how we cultivate young minds to be productive citizens.  A goal in the mentorship program is to help the mentee trust in himself when making the right decisions, to assist in reaching the mentee goals and to build confidence in a way that less instructions or assistance is needed from others.
